Resolution for 2018

We are now at that time of the year where you party hard and have a ton of fun with people you love and cherish. It's the holidays and what's best than to party all day long and forget all the hardships the previous year brought everyone!
...But with this comes in hand the guilt once you've realized the year is ending and you've probably forgotten about the resolutions you had set for yourself during 2017.

Did this comment hit home?
Hope it did HUE.

But it's okay, everyone goes through this! Or at least, the best of us does. It's only natural we'd forget about small details after 365 days. Not to mention most resolutions tend to be about changing your daily routine to better yourself or just do something that's out of character for yourself. The average person isn't that easy to change, and that's why this year I'm planning on having a few resolutions that won't necesarely be defined with milestones, but mostly gradual and mistake free. This way even though I might not reach any milestones, I'll still be able to pass it off by saying "at least I did something about it~".
Call me sly or others, i don't care I think this is genius and that's all that matters!
Anyways, here is my list of Resolutions, points I'd like to work on during this following year.
-Work on understanding my own behaviour:

This basically mean I'd like to find hacks and tricks to controlling myself. Understanding why i react to X event in Y manners and try finding out a solution to this behaviour. As a head start, I already know that during stressful moments, crying for no particular reasons do help think with a clearer mind and takes a load of stress out of my shoulders. Another exemple would be when I'm upset at someone or a certain situation which has a direct impact on myself/my life. I discovered that blaming the situation on myself not only helps me calm down and avoid fights or beef, it also helps me become a bit more independent as I then try to figure a way out of the situation that I now believe I created myself. People might believe blaming oneself isn't healthy, but on the contrary I believe it helps me buid character, manner and patience..
-Work in a more responsible manner:
Specially in concern to community projects, I've came to realized I've slowly been on a slope, slowly

becoming less and less responsible with works I take part in. Not that I avoid doing what I owe, but more like, I don't know my limits and often happen to put my team in danger. With that, I'd like to pay more attention to the workload I impose onto myself. During the past year I've been so engrossed with finding my limits as an individual that I've unwantingly made light of other's efforts. I should definetely start being more conscious of my other teammates and try being a more supportive person on that aspect!
-Grow up a bit:
This goes a bit hand in hand with the first resolution, though I'd like to have a bit more attention put on this aspect of it since I think this might be what kills me in the end. (Metaphorically ofc) I'm a very childish person, I easily get upset, jealous or tend to be very selfish. I'd really like to work on this. Specially considering this might be my greatest weakness...If I could eventually bring myself to

control this immature side of me, I feel like I'd be accomplished as a person, even just a little bit. I'm happy I can at least realize this defect of mine, but at the same time, knowing this side of me poisons my thoughts in the most unhealthy fashion... I am now someone who can potentially influence many young people, and I must be more conscious of my speech and mannerism around them, I must show the good exemple, and not only follow it myself, but become it.
-Remember what really matters:

This past year, I feel like I've been so engrossed on my utaite stature that I've forgotten what my initial
goal was. Not only that but I've been as far as making light of what a few years ago seemed so set in stone for myself. I won't force myself to spartan my way back into the way I've carved for myself but I want to at least keep a conscious mind of my actions concerning it. Hopefully I'll be able to slowly return to the path I'd set for myself. Specially since it feels so close now.

For now this is all I can think of that wouldn't be putting milestones onto my year.. But yeah. I won't be doing empty promises of being more helpful for my family or taking better care of my health just because I know how fragile determination on those departments are...
Though I do think that by working on these defects, as a starter pack, might help everyone around me that I hold dear. Hopefully my existence will gradually become somewhat of a healthy presence for all..!
Lets go into 2018 in power, and positivity! And let's work on making this year more enjoyable for everyone~
